Destination innovation: A year packed full of trade fair highlights

This year, HellermannTyton has exhibited at over 70 trade fairs and distribution partner events around the globe.

From Jyväskylä in Finland to Dubai on the Persian Gulf and from São Paulo in Brazil, to Johannesburg in South Africa our event teams have met with thousands of people since January.

Join us on a journey through the highlights of our trade fair year 2014.

Exhibiting at industrial trade fairs in our core markets around the world allows us to demonstrate the latest innovations from our broad solution portfolio to a broad cross-section of industrial customers.

As a company strongly driven by our customer needs, participating regularly at these events gives us an invaluable platform from which we can exchange with existing and potential customers about their evolving cable management challenges.

Industrial applications

The need for innovative cable management solutions is growing in proportion to the increasing amount of electronic components that original equipment manufacturers are inlcluding in their plant and machinery.

We participate at specialist industry events in order to show how our innovations around the globe can be leveraged locally by customers.

With representatives in over 36 countries and a global network of distribution partners, we ensure that HellermannTyton is in a position to supply original equipment manufacturers with the products, solutions and support they need anywhere at any time.

Transportation engineering

Vehicle design and engineering continuously generate new requirments for reliable and effective parts for the secure fastening, fixing routing, protection and identifcation of cables and connecting parts.

We exhibited at Expo Ferroviaria (Turin, Italy), Infrarail (London, United Kingdom) and InnoTrans (Berlin, Germany).

Blog_06_AIX_Web900pxAt the annual Aircaft Interiors Expo (Hamburg, Germany) in April (see blog article) we drew specific attention to our expertise in replacing metal parts with plastics in the aerospace industry under the motto “You’ve got a weight problem?”

The cutting-edge of our product development know-how was also on show to automotive industry clients at IZB (Wolfsburg, Germany), Automotive Engineering (Birmingham, United Kingdom) and the North American Annual Wire Harness Conference (Lake Buena Vista, USA).

In the marine design sector, we attended Seatec (Carrara, Italy), where we received a special mention for the durability of our Q-tie and Robusto cable tie products at the “Qualitec Technology Award”.

Industrial automation

HellermannTyton’s market-leadership in automatic cable tie bundling systems and expertise in fastening, fixing and protecting cables in industrial plant applications means that attendance at automation expos is obligatory.
